Tube FeedingBut I’m going to try anyway.

Last Monday, I started feeling really flushed and bloated after all of my tube feedings. On Tuesday (chemo day), I cut back on my morning feeding. As soon as I got the feeding through the tube, I began vomiting. Continue reading »

Cancer suppliesBecause of the location of my tumor, my surgeon was unable to do my feeding tube surgery laparascopically, so I woke up on Tuesday afternoon in a lot of pain. Continue reading »

SurgeryI’ve spent the last week working with the radiation oncologists to try to control the pain from the radiation therapy. They started out giving me Tylenol 3. That did next to nothing to ease my pain, so I added in some ibuprofen. Continue reading »

WritingThe pain from the radiation therapy has left me unable to sleep at night and the narcotics (which aren’t really helping much) are making my head fuzzy, so I finally had to admit that I can’t continue to work right now. Continue reading »
